Rikard Fåhraeus is representing Studio44 at Supermarket 2012 with a collection of works gathered under the name; "The Light Escape of Ideas"
“A rusty superhero without a landing
all antennas grew sails and went to sea
Stones listening for an inner life in the ether
A tombola with last years thoughts, whirled around with hope to rejuvenate
A lost arm showing the finger
Some impossibilities, if possible
and
new creations wondering
if there is anything new under the sun,
wearing sunglasses”

Is it possible to unite the official labor market policy with deep art processes?
Is it possible to define the process of making art in a work description?
How is society’s tolerance and acceptance for artistic activity in times of economic uncertainty affected?
Let me look into your eyes
Lotte Nilsson-Välimaa
“I don’t know, if it was the light that fell into his eyes in a strange way, but I do clearly remember how it affected me when I looked into the spherically green mixed circle, his iris. And my eyes were drawn further into the inevitable center, the dark pupil.”
